What I Watched, What You Watched #185

The week began watching Criterion’s Blu-ray release of The Blob and on Thursday I received the Killing Them Softly Blu-ray and I’m really excited to watch it again for the first time since seeing it at Cannes last May, which is really far too long to have gone without seeing one of my top ten films of 2012.

Otherwise, as far as television goes, with this being the best time of year to watch college basketball that’s been filling a lot of my time, though I did watch the season premiere of “Hell’s Kitchen” (love Gordon Ramsay) and got hooked on a show called “Bar Rescue”. Although it’s on Spike, which is easily one of the most annoying channels when it comes to promos and commercials, I set up the DVR to record future episodes in hopes they are just as interesting.

On top of that I continued to read Glenn Frankel‘s “The Searchers: The Making of an American Legend” and I’m hoping to have it finished by this coming Wednesday as I am taking a little trip and would like to start a new book for my journey.

And since I don’t have much else to add, I leave the rest to you. What did you watch and/or read this past week?
