Over 150 New Pictures from ‘Great Expectations’, ‘The Master’, ‘Total Recall’, ‘Looper’ and More

Since the announcing of the line-up of the 2012 Toronto Film Festival I have been adding several new images to the RopeofSilicon galleries. I have also been adding new images to the galleries for upcoming films, 83 to be exact. Add those 83 new pictures to the 69 images I’ve added for films playing at the Toronto Film Festival and I have an update for you today that brings you a total of 152 new pictures.

I’ll feature links to all of the individual galleries at the bottom of the post, but first let’s take a look at a few highlights.

Open Road Films has revealed the first official looks at the long-delayed Red Dawn remake. Lost in the shuffle when MGM was going through their financial woes, Red Dawn was finally picked up by Open Road Films who will release the feature in theaters on November 21.

You can get a full-sized look at the image above and one more image of Chris Hemsworth (Thor) in the gallery by clicking here.

I have 15 new pictures from Total Recall, which I saw yesterday afternoon and can tell you actually does show all three breasts on the three-breasted woman and includes an eff-bomb from Kate Beckinsale. Yeah, this is what it means to push a PG-13 to its limit nowadays.

Featured below are links to more galleries for the films that aren’t playing in the Toronto Film Festival. You can check out all the galleries by clicking on the movie title, which will open up a new browser window/tab. Once you are done looking at the pics, close that window/tab to return back to this post.

  • Red Dawn (The first 2 pictures have been added to the gallery.)
  • Total Recall (15 new pictures have been added to the gallery)
  • Paranormal Activity 4 (I added a hi-res version of the poster)
  • Skyfall (First look at Javier Bardem as the film’s villain)
  • Cloud Atlas (I added 45 screen captures from the nearly 6 minute trailer)

Now for the Toronto titles… There are a lot here so I’m going to only feature a couple and give descriptions next to the titles for the rest.

Thanks to the Film Stage we have 18 new pictures from Paul Thomas Anderson‘s The Master, which will be playing at both Venice and Toronto before it starts hitting theaters on September 14.

You can check out all of the pics featuring Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams and Philip Seymour Hoffman by clicking here.

Also brand new today are seven pictures from Mike Newell‘s adaptation of the Dickens classic Great Expectations and I have pictures of Jeremy Irvine, Helena Bonham Carter and Ralph Fiennes to share. Just click here to browse the full gallery.

And before I shuffle you off to the list of all 17 titles below, I have four new pictures from Neil Jordan‘s Byzantium, a vampire feature of a different sort centered on two mysterious, penniless young women (Saoirse Ronan and Gemma Arterton) who flee the scene of a violent crime and end up in a run-down coastal resort where their past may finally catch up with them.

You can give the full gallery a view right here.

Just like the list above, you can check out all the galleries by clicking on the movie title in the list below, which will open up a new browser window/tab. Once you are done looking at the pics, close that window/tab to return back to this post to browse some more.
