For the most part I’d say the recent rash of posters for The Dark Knight Rises have been rather underwhelming. Of course, the recent Catwoman poster was quite cool and the six banners were solid, but outside of the first teaser poster, I haven’t really seen anything that has blown me away and these two newest posters aren’t any exception.
The Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) one is rather generic and the Batman (Christian Bale) one just seems rather empty. Agree? Disagree?
The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters on July 20 and marks the conclusion of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The cast includes Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman; Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle (Catwoman); Tom Hardy as Bane; Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake.
