When you have a familiarity with some actors and directors it doesn’t take much to get people excited and names such as director Michael Mann (Collateral, Heat), “Deadwood” screenwriter David Milch and Dustin Hoffman have certainly come together in this teaser for HBO’s “Luck”, horse racing drama taking a look at the owners, gamblers, jockeys and diverse gaming industry players. Apparently Hoffman is at the center of it all as organized crime figure and big money gambler, Ace Bernstein.
The show is expected to air on HBO in 2012, but no official dates have yet been announced. Check out the teaser below.
