First Look at Richard Jenkins in ‘Let Me In’

I’ve just received the first look at Richard Jenkins in Matt Reeves’s Let Me In, a remake of the 2008 Swedish film, Let the Right One In, adapted from John Ajvide Lindqvist’s novel of the same name.

The film centers on Abby (Kick-Ass‘s Chloe Moretz), a mysterious newcomer to a small New Mexico town where she meets the bullied 12-year-old Owen (The Road‘s Kodi Smit-McPhee). Jenkins plays the role of Abby’s guardian, referred to as “The Father” in current press documentation and I’m sure fans of the original already know exactly which scene is being portrayed in the pic above.

The film will be making its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival in September before hitting theaters here in the States on October 1.
