Trio of ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ Mini-Featurettes

Warner Bros. just sent over three mini-featurettes or “interstitials” previewing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I, which were shown over this past week on ABC Family as they aired the Harry Potter movies.

Prior to my IMAX screening of Inception on Monday the first trailer for Deathly Hallows played in front of it and my lord does it look dark, and I mean really dark. Based on the subject matter of the seventh book I fully expect both parts one and two to get PG-13 ratings, and I am willing to bet some parents will be complaining about the nature of these films. However, I must give credit to Warner Bros. for never dumbing down the material and allowing the natural progression of these films to take place as the films themselves have grown up with the audience.

In my opinion the seventh book was the best of the bunch and I truly hope that translates to the big screen.

The first film is set to hit theaters on November 19 with the second following in 2012 on July 15. For more from Part One, including the RopeofSilicon gallery of 24 images click here.
