Dune: Part 3 Trailer Has Fans Saying the Same Thing

The Dune: Part Three trailer just broke the internet, and fans are losing it. Excited viewers flooded social media to describe the new footage from Denis Villeneuve‘s epic conclusion.

Fans react to ‘peak’ Dune: Part 3 trailer

Warner Bros. dropped the official Dune: Part Three trailer on X (formerly Twitter) on July 8, 2026. The post from the official @dunemovie account quickly amassed over 8.2 million views. It also gathered more than 27,000 likes within hours of its release.

Fans flooded the replies with excitement and praise for the footage. One user called the trailer “PEAK” with fire emojis attached to the post. Another user wrote, “oh my god i already got the popcorn already; im stoked for dune 3.” A different user joked, “Looks like the only thing we’ll be forgiving is the popcorn shortage on opening night.”

Several fans also highlighted director Villeneuve’s work on the franchise. One user stated, “Denis Villeneuve is about to deliver a trilogy for the ages.” That same user added that if Dune: Messiah lives up to the trailer, it could rival The Lord of the Rings. Another fan referenced both Villeneuve and Christopher Nolan, saying the two filmmakers “ate this movie up.”

The trailer features the tagline “Forgive me for all I’ve done” and teases the epic conclusion. The film takes place around two decades after Paul Atreides seized control of the Imperium. It stars Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Robert Pattinson among others.

Additional fans expressed their anticipation in creative ways across the platform. One user simply posted, “Lisan al-Gaib,” referencing a key phrase from the franchise. Another wrote, “I’m so freaking seated,” signaling readiness for the December release.

Part Three arrives exclusively in theaters and IMAX on December 18.
