This is not a bad film and it’s not a good film. I expect anyone that reads my review and likes Predators will likely tell me I was a bit too harsh on it. I have a hard time believing anyone can come out with a glowing opinion considering it leaves way too much to be desired, but I expect opinions will be slightly more appreciative than I was.
This film is rated R for strong creature violence and gore, and pervasive language.
A truly solid animated film that I expect most everyone that sees it will like it, then again there are a couple of particularly venomous reviews on RottenTomatoes. Perhaps some critics are just mad at the world and need a hug.
This film is rated PG for rude humor and mild action.
Here is one of the best acting pieces of the year and I expect it will go down as one of the better acting pieces of 2010 once all is said and done. However, I did have a few reservations, which you can read in my review, but this is still a film I would suggest most people give a look. It hits six theaters this weekend and expands throughout July. You can click here to find out when it’s playing near you.
This film is rated R for strong sexual content, nudity, language and some teen drug and alcohol use.
Maybe I am the only one out there that simply can’t stand this movie, but the idea of sitting through an actual sing-a-long version sounds like absolute torture to me. However, when leaving my screening of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice last night I saw a bunch of people all dressed up to check it out and have heard it’s selling out around the country. For those that love it, I hope you enjoy… It’s simply not for me.
This film is rated PG-13 for sexual content including references, teen smoking and drinking, and language.
I simply don’t get what everyone finds so funny and great about this film. To me it was the bored portrait of a sad man that would probably prefer to have been left alone, or at least have someone listen to what he really wanted to say rather than discuss some stupid viral video.
