Amanda Peet is the latest name to join the cast of Fox’s Gulliver’s Travels being directed by Rob Letterman (Monsters vs. Aliens). Peet joins Jack Black who plays the title character Lemuel Gulliver and Emily Blunt, Jason Segel and Chris O’Dowd.

The film is based on Jonathan Swift’s classic story and was written by Nicholas Stoller and Joe Stillman.

Blunt will play a Lilliputian princess and Black’s love interest. Segel will play Horatio, Gulliver’s best friend from Lilliput who helps rescue Gulliver when he’s captured. Peet will play Black’s editor and potential romantic interest.

Filming is already underway for a June 4, 2010 release.

Peet lends her voice to this weekend’s Battle for Terra and will be seen in the November disaster feature 2012 opposite John Cusack.
