Star Wars: The Force Awakens Toys Debut Online

Having been previously announced that the first Star Wars: The Force Awakens toys and merchandise will debut in stores on September 4 at 12:01 A.M., Lucasfilm and Disney Consumer Products have released the first images of some of the collectibles. Among those shown are the LEGO Buildable First Order Stormtrooper (not available until January 2016, unfortunately), the Black Series 6-Inch Stormtrooper (a version of which will be available at San Diego Comic-Con), and a Stormtrooper-inspired Hot Wheels car. Check them out below and stay tuned during the San Diego Comic-Con for even more “Star Wars” toy reveals.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi, and features a new generation of swashbuckling heroes and shadowy villains, as well as the return of fan-favorite smugglers, princesses, and Jedi.

Starring Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker as their characters from the original trilogy, “The Force Awakens” also stars John Boyega as Finn, Daisy Ridley as Rey, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, Oscar Isaac Poe Dameron, Lupita Nyong’o as Maz Kanata, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, and Andy Serkis as Supreme Leader Snoke. Also starring, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Crystal Clarke, Pip Anderson, Christina Chong and Miltos Yerolemou, the J.J. Abrams-directed film will debut in theaters on December 18, 2015.

Lucasfilm announced yesterday that Star Wars: The Force Awakens is coming to Comic-Con. You can check out the scheduled Star Wars events for San Diego by clicking here.
