The Hollywood Reporter has revealed more details about Jeremy Piven’s The Goods: The Don Ready Story, which Piven first talked about a couple of weeks ago.
Paramount Vantage has greenlighted the comedy under its deal with Will Ferrell and Adam McKay’s Gary Sanchez Productions. Neal Brennan will direct. Ferrell, McKay and Sanchez’s Chris Henchy will produce.
Rick Stempson and Andy Stock wrote the script, which centers on a used-car liquidator hired to save a struggling dealership during a Fourth of July weekend sale.
Production will begin in December in Los Angeles.
