The Avengers: Doomsday trailer has revealed a fan-favorite costume. Among all the MCU characters, the Fantastic Four‘s new design has impressed Marvel fans. Some are even asking Marvel Studios to sell them as official merch.
What is the Fantastic Four costume change seen in the Avengers: Doomsday trailer?
The Fantastic Four are part of the Avengers: Doomsday trailer. But instead of their powers, fans have been praising them for their new looks.
In the official trailer, they donned the new Fantastic Four jackets, which have attracted many compliments on X. For instance, user @FTWCK04 posted, “Real, I LOVE these jackets @MarvelStudios please release these for merch, you’d make a lot of money.”
Moreover, many have noticed that Reed Richards’ jacket is slightly different from the rest. User @mdjarin__ expressed, “I love the fact that reed’s jacket is the different one from the rest of the fantastic four.” Additionally, user @ApasserbyFan stated, “Best thing to come out of this trailer are the FF’s new jackets. I’d especially wear Reed’s ngl. Shame Ben didn’t get one.”
In fact, when the new costume was shown on the poster previously, some thought that the jackets looked “goofy.” However, the trailer has changed their minds.
That said, not everybody liked the look, as they prefer their original suits. User @Smv_of_Heroes stated, “These jackets kinda ruin the look they have really good suits underneath!”
Regardless, the Fantastic Four are an integral part of Avengers: Doomsday, fighting alongside the Avengers and X-Men in a multiuniversal collision. The group of four consists of Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm.
The movie is slated to release in theaters on December 18, 2026. It will be followed by Secret Wars, slated for release on December 17, 2027, where the four will be reprising their respective roles.
