They Will Kill You HBO Max Streaming Release Date Announced for Zazie Beetz Movie

Zazie Beetz‘s action horror comedy movie They Will Kill You has found its HBO Max release date. Featuring the Emmy Award nominee, the film is helmed by Kirill Sokolov.

When is the HBO Max release date for They Will Kill You?

They Will Kill You, from Warner Bros. Pictures, is set to release on the HBO Max streaming platform and HBO on June 12, 2026. It was initially released in theaters earlier this year on March 27, 2026. It then arrived digitally, on 4K, & Blu-ray on April 28, 2026. During its theatrical run, the movie went on to make $19 million worldwide.

They Will Kill You fared decently with critics and fans. It currently holds a Tomatometer score of 64% and a good Popcornmeter score of 77% on Rotten Tomatoes.

“The film unleashes a blood-soaked, high-octane horror-action-comedy in which a young woman must survive the night at the Virgil, a demonic cult’s mysterious and twisted death-trap of a lair, before becoming their next offering in a uniquely brazen, big screen battle of epic kills and wickedly dark humor,” reads the official synopsis for They Will Kill You.

Besides Zazie Beetz, the cast also includes Myha’La (Bodies Bodies Bodies), Paterson Joseph (Boat Story), Tom Felton (Altered), Heather Graham (The Hangover), and Patricia Arquette (Severance).

The story has been written by Sokolov & Alex Litvak. Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, and Dan Kagan have served as the producers on the action horror comedy film. Russell Ackerman, John Schoenfelder, Carl Hampe, Litvak, and Sokolov are the executive producers.

Apart from They Will Kill You, Zazie Beetz was also seen in a sci-fi adventure movie this year, titled Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die. Helmed by Gore Verbinski, it also featured Sam Rockwell, Haley Lu Richardson, Juno Temple, and Michael Peña, among others.

Beetz was also featured in a thriller this year, called The Dutchman, alongside Kate Mara, André Holland, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Aldis Hodge, and more. The movie was directed by Andres Gaines.
