Columbia Pictures has scooped up a pitch titled Father’s Day as a potential starring vehicle for Ashton Kutcher, who is producing with Jason Goldberg. Ian Deitchman and Kristin Robinson are writing the multi-generational comedy.
The scribes recently sold First Kiss to Warners and are completing a rewrite of Miss Captivity for Téa Leoni at Universal. They also sold Life as We Know It to Gold Circle.
Kutcher recently appeared in The Guardian and Bobby. He provided lead vocals for Sony Animation’s Open Season.
