Goldie Hawn will star in and direct the comedy Ashes to Ashes, which will also topline Kurt Russell, reports Variety. The movie will be produced by producers Michel Shane and Anthony Romano (I, Robot).
Ashes to Ashes centers on a woman who travels through India to Kathmandu to bury her husband’s ashes but loses them along the way.
Hawn helms, in her feature directing debut, from a script she wrote with Jeremy Pikser (Bulworth). Pre-production will begin in the fall; the movie will be shot in New York and India.
