Samuel L. Jackson & Henry Golding to Star in Sci-Fi Thriller Head Games

Samuel L. Jackson and Henry Golding are set to star in the upcoming sci-fi thriller Head Games, according to a recent report from Deadline. The movie will be directed by Anthony Mandler (Monster) from a script written by Colin Liddle (Penny Dreadful: City of Angels).

The movie will follow the story of “a corporate spy poses as a personal chef to infiltrate the villa of a former founder of a neuroprosthetics firm in order to steal his seismic-shifting new invention. Nothing is as it seems as the mind games begin,” according to Deadline’s report.

Information on sci-fi thriller remains mostly unknown

Currently, no other casting information or news on the film is available. Sales of the film’s distribution will be discussed at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival, according to Deadline.

“I couldn’t be more excited to bring this brilliant script to life. Head Games is a propulsive story that pushes the boundaries of what we know as reality and what could ultimately become fiction before our eyes,” said Jeffrey Greenstein, the head of production and sales company A Higher Standard. “The buildup and ultimate unraveling of these characters is both a metaphor for our culture today as well as a foreshadowing to what’s to come. I couldn’t think of two better actors to bring Graham and Jacob to life than Sam and Henry.”

Jackson’s latest roles include parts in 2024’s Argylle and Damaged, as well as an upcoming role in The Garfield Movie, The Piano Lesson, and Unholy Trinity. Golding most recently appeared in Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, and is also set to appear in the upcoming The Old Guard 2, Daniela Forever, as well as the planned sequel for 2018’s A Simple Favor.
