While not a whole lot is known about the upcoming Terrifier 3, director Damien Leone recently teased that it will have the scariest scene in the franchise.
Taking to Twitter this week, Leone teased that they had just finished filming “one of the most insanely horrific scenes” of the entire franchise, and that the behind-the-scenes of it was equally hilarious.
“Can honestly say we just filmed one of the most insanely horrific scenes of the Terrifier franchise and you’ll never believe who couldn’t handle it on set the bts is hilarious,” said Leone. “Can’t wait for you all to see!”
Terrifier 3 will see the return of David Howard Thornton as Art the Clown, with Lauren LaVera once again returning as the franchise’s final girl, Sienna Shaw. The rest of the returning cast members also include Samantha Scaffidi, Elliott Fullam, and professional wrestler Chris Jericho.
What do we know about Terrifier 3?
While some details are yet to be unveiled, Terrifier 3 marks the first time the franchise will be straying away from its usual Halloween setting.
Leone also confirmed that there are things to be excited about regarding the upcoming Terrifier film, including new major characters. He also said that the third installment will pick up exactly where Terrifier 2 left off.
Terrifier 3 is scheduled for theatrical release on October 25, just in time for the Halloween season.
