According to Deadline, Emmy nominee Arian Moayed (Succession) and Carmen Ejogo (True Detective) have officially joined the Fountain of Youth cast for Guy Ritchie’s next action adventure movie.
Further details about Moayed and Ejogo’s characters remained under wraps. They will be joining previously announced cast members John Krasinski (A Quiet Place), Natalie Portman (May December), Eiza Gonzalez (Hobbs & Shaw), Domhnall Gleeson (Ex Machina) and Laz Alonso (The Boys).
What is Fountain of Youth about?
“The film centers around estranged siblings (Krasinski and Portman) who partner on a global heist to find the mythological Fountain of Youth. They must use their knowledge of history to follow clues on an epic adventure that will change their lives — and possibly lead to immortality,” reads the film’s synopsis.
Fountain of Youth will be directed by Ritchie from a screenplay written by James Vanderbilt, based on an original idea by Ritchie. It will be executive produced by Scream filmmakers Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett and Chad Villella, with Ritchie, Vanderbilt, Ivan Atkinson, Jake Myers, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Tripp Vinson, William Sherak and Paul Neinstein serving as producers. It is a co-production by Apple and Skydance.
