Per Collider, Focus Features is giving fans a chance to win a free wedding on September 6, 2023, in celebration of My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3. Participating chapels are located in Atlanta, Cleveland, Philadelphia, San Diego, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, New York, and Seattle.

The film grossed $368.7 million at the worldwide box office on a $5 million budget and was nominated for Best Original Screenplay at the 75th Academy Awards. Following a 2003 sitcom titled My Big Fat Greek Life, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 arrived in 2016 and made $90.6 million at the box office with an $18 million budget.

The film stars Nia Vardalos, John Corbett, Louis Mandylor, Elena Kampouris, Lainie Kazan, Andrea Martin, Gia Carides, Joey Fatone, Maria Vacratsis, Elisas Kacavas, Gerry Mendicino, and Melina Kotselou.
Vardalos also directed and wrote the film, which is produced by Rita Wilson, Tom Hanks, and Gary Goetzman. Executive producers include Paul Brooks, Scott Niemeyer, Vardalos, and Steven Shareshian.
