James Gunn Supports SnyderCon, Will Definitely Be Donating

DC Studios Co-CEO and director James Gunn stated on Twitter that he supports Zack Snyder’s upcoming SnyderCon event and will be donating to it.

Responding to a Twitter user asking Gunn if he would attend SnyderCon with a video of Snyder saying the director “might” attend, Gunn said that if he wasn’t going to be busy with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 press ahead of the movie’s May 5 premiere, “why not?” The Superman: Legacy director then stated that he will definitely be donating, referring to the event’s proceeds and donations going towards the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

SnyderCon will feature a screening of Man of SteelBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League in Los Angeles. The movies will be screened on April 28, 29, and 30, respectively, with the IMAX version of Zack Snyder’s Justice League being played on April 30.

The DC Universe’s first phase, called Chapter One: Gods and Monsters, will feature a multitude of different movies and television shows. A few of the announced projects include Superman: Legacy, a Batman and Robin-focused movie called The Brave and the Bold, a Supergirl movie titled Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, a Swamp Thing film, and multiple TV shows.
