Charlize Theron, the star of the upcoming Netflix sequel The Old Guard 2, posted two photos of herself and her fellow cast members on the set of the film.

The Old Guard 2 will take inspiration from the second arc of the comic upon which the films are based, which was made by Greg Rucka and Leandro Fernandez.
The sequel to The Old Guard will be produced by original director Gina Prince-Bythewood, Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger, along with Marc Evans & Denver and Delilah’s Charlize Theron, Beth Kono, and A.J. Dix.

Since its debut, the first film garnered positive reviews from critics and audiences alike, praising its action sequences, LGBTQ+ representation within the superhero genre, and Theron’s leading performance. During its debut week, it also managed to break one of Netflix’s streaming records by earning the sixth spot on Netflix’s top 10 most popular films.
