The original book was published in 1894 and includes, among a number of other animal-themed stories, the classic tales of an Indian boy named Mowgli who is raised by wolves and lives among the other animals in the jungle. No casting for the Warner Bros. version has yet been announced. The Disney version, meanwhile, will star newcomer Neel Sethi and will also feature the voices of Idris Elba, Scarlett Johansson, Lupita Nyong’o, Ben Kingsley, Christopher Walken and Giancarlo Esposito. The only other film set for release on October 21, 2016 is, at the moment, a mystery horror film from Blumhouse Productions. Show Comments |
