Captain America Goes Home in New Movie Tie-In Comic

Just a month before the release of Marvel Studios’ next film, Marvel Comics will publish a brand new one shot titled “Captain America: Homecoming.” Written by “Cowboys & Aliens” scribe Fred Van Lente with art by Tom Grummet, the comic will tell the story of what Steve Rogers was doing between 2012’s The Avengers and the upcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Speaking with Newsarama, Van Lente showed off some Grummet’s art and revealed the plot of the story, which sees him teaming up with Black Widow.

“In this story, Steve Rogers takes Natasha to the Brooklyn neighborhood where he grew up. A lot has changed there since Steve was a kid in the 1930s, but the walk down memory lane is interrupted when a terrorist strike happens while they?re there. The question of whether it happens because they were there or not is a question readers will have to wait until they read the issue to find out.”

“Captain America: Homecoming” debuts this March. Wiill you be picking it up?
