Ben Whishaw Says No Time to Die will Link Up with Other Bond Films

In a few more months, James Bond will grace the big screen once more in No Time to Die, a film that is being billed as Daniel Craig’s final outing in the titular role — a character he has played since 2006’s Casino Royale. Well, to really drive home the whole finale angle, actor Ben Whishaw revealed to Collider that No Time to Die will essentially tie all of Craig’s films together.

“It’s Daniel’s last film as James Bond, so I think what they can look forward to is a kind of summing up, I guess, of all of the previous Bond films that Daniel’s done,” Whishaw said. “There are strands from all of the films in it, kind of reaching a conclusion.”

This isn’t exactly new to the Craig films, as Quantum of Solace and Spectre served as sequels to their respective predecessors, to mixed results. In fact, Spectre was seen as a culmination of all the Craig films by revealing Christoph Waltz’s Blofeld as the man who was pulling the strings all along. Hopefully, Craig gets to go out with a bang, as his Bond films have been amongst the best in this long-running series.
