In a World… writer/director/star Lake Bell has joined the cast of The Coup, says a story today at The Hollywood Reporter. She joins Owen Wilson and Pierce Brosnan in the thriller, which is set to begin production in Thailand at the end of this month.
John Erick Dowdle (Devil, Quarantine) is directing from a script he co-wrote with his brother Drew Dowdle. The film is a thriller that centers on an American family that moves to Southeast Asia and finds themselves entangled in a violent coup where merciless rebels are attacking the city.
Drew Dowdle, David Lancaster and Michel Litvak are attached to produce with Gary Michael Walters executive producing.
