Netflix Developing A Time Lost From Millie Bobby Brown and Her Sister
Netflix has announced they’re developing a brand new drama film titled A Time Lost, based on an original story by Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown and her sister Paige Brown. The Brown sisters will serve as executive producers.
“We are so grateful to Netflix for their confidence in us and this beautiful story, which we have spent years writing and developing,” Millie Bobby Brown and Paige Brown said in a joint statement. “It’s about friendship, family and overcoming obstacles when it feels like the world is pushing you down. It’s been a labor of love, literally.”
In A Time Lost, a long-standing feud between two Long Island families comes to a head when one of their teenage daughters is diagnosed with cancer. The film’s screenplay will be penned by Anna Klassen. The project will mark Millie Bobby Brown’s second collaboration with the streaming service.
“Millie is an extraordinary creative talent. We’ve been lucky to have her in our family from the beginning of her career. It is a genuine thrill to witness Millie bring her distinct vision to the screen, now as a writer and producer, alongside her sister on this wonderful film.” Netflix’s VP of independent film and documentary features, Lisa Nishimura said.
Millie Bobby Brown gained worldwide recognition for her breakthrough role as Eleven in Netflix’s hit sci-fi series Stranger Things which earned the young actress her first Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. She will next be seen in the upcoming mystery film Enola Holmes starring alongside Henry Cavill and Sam Claflin.
