One of the biggest announcements at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con was the reveal by Man of Steel director Zack Snyder that the sequel will bring together two of the greatest super heroes of all time – Batman and Superman!
The new Batman is yet to be cast, but Snyder is currently co-writing the story with David S. Goyer, who will then pen the screenplay. Production is expected to begin in 2014, with an anticipated release date in Summer 2015. Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane will return.
A video of the Comic-Con announcement has now made its way online and while studios usually don’t like panel footage to hit the internet, we think this is probably okay since it’s just a logo teaser. Check it out below!
