We’ve ranked the top five Sophie Thatcher movies, including her newest horror thriller movie, Her Private Hell, which is now out in theaters. Even though Thatcher also starred in 2024’s MaXXXine, it won’t be included on this list because the Yellowjackets star only had a cameo role. The rankings are based on each film’s Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes.

5) Her Private Hell (2026)

Placing fifth is the newly released sci-fi horror thriller Her Private Hell from director Nicolas Winding Refn. So far, the movie has already garnered a 45% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 60 reviews. Despite mixed criticisms regarding the film’s visual style, slow pacing, and messy narrative, Thatcher’s lead performance as Lilith has received praise from critics, who described it as her most daring one yet. The movie also stars Charles Melton, Havana Rose Liu, Kristine Froseth, and Diego Calva.

4) The Boogeyman (2023)

In fourth place is Rob Savage’s 2023 horror thriller The Boogeyman, which was based on Stephen King’s short story of the same name. In the film, Thatcher played a high schooler who goes up against a supernatural creature terrorizing her family following the death of her beloved mother.
