88Rising at Coachella 2024: Bibi & Jackson Wang Perform Unreleased Track

The 2024 edition of Coachella hosted its first week of headliners from April 12-14. The special stage of 88rising, titled 88rising Futures, saw a star-studded lineup of Korean artists. It included Bibi and Jackson Wang, who surprised fans by performing a new track for the first time on the Coachella stage.

Coachella 2024 saw Ateez and Le Sserafim setting the mood for the April 12 and 13 event. Followed by K-pop‘s rising icons, 88rising artists took over Coachella on April 14 at the Mojave stage.

Jackson Wang‘s surprise appearance at the 88rising stage of Coachella sent fans into a frenzy. The idol heartthrob performed an unreleased track, “Feeling Lucky,” with Korean singer Bibi. Moreover, Jackson’s entry to the Coachella stage made fans gasp as Bibi gently took his hand and helped him come to the center.

The latest collaboration track of the duo received loud cheers from the audience as they harmonized in their signature sultry vocals: “There’s something about the way that it tastes / You’re running around at a dangerous pace / You know what to do, and you know what to say / And when you’re away, I’m always thinkin’ about you.”

Jackson Wang also performed with the Japanese hip-hop trio Number_i, which comprises of Yuta Jinguji, Sho Hirano, and Yuta Kishi. The group performed their debut single, “Goat,” alongside Jackson. For the uninitiated, the Japanese supergroup Number_i released “Goat” on New Year’s Day. Within a week of its release, the song reached the number one spot on Japan’s Billboard Hot 100.

Followed by the 88rising Futures stage on Coachella weekend 1, the music label will also return on the second weekend. Weekend 2 of 88rising stage lineup features artists like rapper Tiger JK, Yoonmirae, Japanese pop duo YOASOBI, Number_i, girl group Atarashii Gakko!, and more.

International fans who can’t attend Coachella 2024 in person can watch the show’s livestream from the official YouTube channel from April 19 to 21. The stream will be available worldwide.
