KBS Daily K-Drama Scandal Confirms Full Cast Lineup: Han Chae-Young, Han Bo-Reum, Choi Woong & More

KBS announced the cast list for its upcoming daily K-drama Scandal. The new series will replace the ongoing drama Without Blood or Tears. The series follows the scandal between two women, one who wants to take over the world and another who risks everything in her life to seek revenge. The popular cast members include Han Chae-Young, Han Bo-Reum, Choi Woong, and Kang Da-Bin, who are leading the series. 

The television network also announced the names of supporting cast members. These include Kim Gyu-Seon, Jeon Seung-Bin, Jin Joo-Hyung, Oh Young-Joo, Kim Yui, and Kim Jin-Woo. Director Choi Ji-Yeong helms the series, while Hwang Soon-Young serves as the writer. As of now, no exact release date has been announced. However, the network announced that it would premiere sometime in June 2024. 

KBS K-drama Scandal cast: Han Chae-Young, Choi Woong & more play pivotal roles

Scandal is an upcoming KBS daily drama that follows the story of a woman named Mun Kyung-Sook (Han Chae-Young). After marrying Baek Dong-Ho (Kang Da-Bin), she steals all his property and wealth to establish an agency. She changes her name to Moon Jeong-In and becomes CEO of the production company, Jeong In Entertainment. One day, she comes across aspiring actor Seo Jin-Ho, who closely resembles her first love, Seo Jin-Ho (Choi Woong), leading her life to change.

Meanwhile, Kim Gyu-Seon plays Jeong-In’s daughter, Min Joo-Ryeon. Through the love and support of her parents, she has grown up to be a smart and successful woman. She falls in love at first sight with Seo Jin-Ho. Jeon Seung-Bin essays the role of Na Hyun-Woo, a popular director highly recognized for his skills at a young age. He comes across writer Park Jin-Kyung (Han Bo-Reum) when choosing her script for his new drama. The two grow closer over the filming process.

Jin Joo-Hyung plays the role of Kim Seok-Gi, the head of the planning department at Jeong-In Entertainment. He secretly likes his college senior, Joo-Ryeon, but doesn’t express his feelings toward her. Instead, he silently keeps liking her while also protecting her. Oh Young-Joo plays Park Jin-Kyung’s best friend and assistant, Go Eun-Byeol. Meanwhile, Kim Yui plays Jin-Kyung’s relative and stylist, Park Ji-Yeon. Lastly, Kim Jin-Woo essays the role of Na Sung-Woo, Hyun-Woo’s younger brother. He assists Hyun-Woo as the assistant director of a broadcasting station.
