Netflix K-Drama Cashero Confirms Cast: Lee Jun-Ho, Kim Hye-Jun, Kim Hyang-Gi & More

The upcoming Netflix K-drama Cashero revealed its star-studded cast list on Thursday, April 18, 2024. The series includes popular stars Lee Jun-Ho, Kim Hye-Jun, Kim Hyang-Gi, and Kim Byung-Chul. The drama’s central storyline revolves around an ordinary civil servant, Kang Sang-Woong (Lee Jun-Ho), who possesses the special ability to gain as much strength as the amount of cash he has with him.

Based on the Kakao webtoon of the same name, Cashero promises an interesting and engaging storyline alongside a talented cast. Director Lee Chang-Min of Welcome to Waikiki fame helms the series. Meanwhile, Lee Je-In and Cheon Chan-Ho serve as the screenwriters of the upcoming Netflix K-drama. Other than Lee Jun-Ho, the rest of the cast also has interesting storylines. As of now, no release date or timeline has been announced.

Netflix’s upcoming K-drama Cashero is a superhero series that follows the story of Kang Sang-Woong (Lee Jun-Ho), an ordinary government employee. However, he has a unique ability to gain as much strength as the cash he holds. His dream is to own his own home, but his life turns upside down after accidentally inheriting the supernatural ability. The series will portray his struggles as he loses money after losing his ability. Lee Jun-Ho was most recently seen in the popular K-drama King The Land.

Meanwhile, Kim Hye-Jun, who recently showcased her acting prowess in the Disney Plus K-drama A Shop for Killers, plays the role of Kang Sang-Woong’s longtime girlfriend, Kim Min-Sook. She is an extremely realistic and analytical person who prioritizes efficiency over everything else. She holds an extraordinary ability and talent for numbers. Although she believes Sang-Woong’s abilities to be inefficient, she continues to support him.

Kim Byung-Chul, known for his appearances in popular K-dramas like SKY Castle, Descendants of the Sun, and more, will essay the role of lawyer Byun Ho-In. Interestingly, his supernatural abilities take action when he drinks alcohol. As the head of the Korean Association of Supernatural People, he battles against a mysterious criminal organization that attacks people with superpowers.

Lastly, Kim Hyang-Gi plays the role of Bang Eun-Mi, a woman whose supernatural telekinesis abilities get activated based on the number of calories she consumes. She is fearless and slightly indifferent, but she remains a loyal friend to Sang-Woong and Ho-In. Kim Hyang-Gi is popular for her roles in Moment At Eighteen, Poong- The Joseon Psychiatrist, and more.
