2PM Member Lee Jun-Ho, Kim Hye-Joon in New Netflix Drama Cashero, Claim Reports

2PM member Lee Jun-Ho is all set to appear in a new Netflix Drama, titled Cashero. He will reportedly be accompanied by Kim Hye-Joon. On October 31, 2023, OSEN reported that the duo would star as leads in the K-drama, raising anticipation among the viewers. Lee Chang-Min serves as the director of the Netflix original series.

In response to the report, Kim Hye-Joon’s agency ANDMARQ revealed that the actress has received the offer and is currently in the process of reviewing it. The news outlet further mentioned that preparations for the K-drama are in full progress.

Cashero is an upcoming South Korean drama based on the webtoon of the same name and follows the story of ordinary superheroes protecting the lives of the citizens.

Lee Jun-Ho, Kim Hye-Joon to lead Netflix’s superhero drama Cashero

Lee Jun-Ho embarks on this Netflix project fresh from the success of his previous highly successful K-drama, King The Land, with Girls Generation’s Im Yoon-Ah. On Cashero, he has been offered to play the role of Kang Sang-Woong, a superhero whose physical abilities and strength are equally proportional to the amount of cash he has. His superhero name is Cashero, making him the central focus of the story.

Meanwhile, if Kim Hye-Joon takes up the offer, she will play the role of Lee Jun-Ho’s girlfriend. She will portray a character with a special talent for working her way with numbers. This role, however, will differ from many of her other projects, including Inspector Koo, Disney Plus’ Connect or the Kingdom series.

This fresh combination of Lee Jun-Ho and Kim Hye-Joon in a superhero K-drama is only making way for success, concerning the lead couple as well as the storyline. They will also be reportedly accompanied by At Eighteen star Kim Hyang-Gi. The actress has also received an offer to star in the drama and is currently in the process of reviewing it.

Viewers will have to stay tuned for more updates about Netflix’s Cashero.
