MBC recently shared on-set photos of Wonderful World featuring Cha Eun-Woo. In the revenge K-drama, he plays the lead role of Kwon Seon-Yul, who wants to avenge the death of his father.
The storyline revolves around Eun Soo-Hyun (Kim Nam-Joo), a former well-known author who spent years in jail after killing her son’s culprit. Coincidentally, she meets Seon-Yul and assumes he is someone else. Soon, she figures out his real identity and the revenge drama becomes more interesting.
Throughout the series, Eun-Woo donned a serious, intense look. But the latest on-set pictures tell a different story as they bring out the actor’s real personality.

In the Wonderful World behind-the-scenes photos, Cha Eun-Woo is all smiles. The first picture features him in hospital clothes, wearing glasses, and giving a big grin, highlighting his handsome face. In the next photo, he is riding a bike wearing a helmet; however, his smiling face is visible.
The real personality of the actor indeed contradicts his character, Kwon Seon-Yul. The K-drama has released 10 episodes so far. In last week’s episode, Seon-Yul doesn’t want to back down as his revenge plan is in progress. He successfully ruins Eun Soo-Hyun’s (Kim Nam-Joo) relationships with her husband and sister.
Amid his revenge saga, Seon-Yul hears devastating news. His mother, who was in a coma for months after an accident, passed away. At the funeral, Soo-Hyun arrives to pay her last respects. Seon-Yul finds it difficult to understand why she is willing to comfort or help him.
In the upcoming episode, Soo-Hyun will hand over a piece of evidence to Seon-Yul that will likely prove that his mother’s accident was intentional. K-drama Wonderful World episode 11 will air on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 9:50 p.m. KST on MBC. It will also stream on Disney Plus.
