Wonderful World episode 10 aired on Saturday, March 30, 2024, on MBC and Disney Plus. Starring Cha Eun-Woo as Kwon Seon-Yul and Kim Nam-Joo as Eun Soo-Hyun, the revenge K-drama focuses on Seon-Yul’s plan to avenge his father’s death.
In the previous episode, Seon-Yul attacked Soo-Hyun’s marriage by exposing her husband, Soo-Ho. The woman who slept with Soo-Ho when Soo-Hyun was in prison was her sister Yu-Ri. While Soo-Hyun’s life was in shambles, she didn’t budge and confronted Seon-Yul in episode 9. After this, the latter planned to throw one last strike at her by targeting the one she loved the most. The episode ended with Seon-Yul informing Soo-Hyun that her mother had been hospitalized.
The latest episode 10 begins with Soo-Hyun losing her cool after Seon-Yul apparently targets her mother. In return, she drops a bomb on him as she mentions that his mother’s accident was intentional.
Wonderful World episode 10 spoilers: Did Cha Eun-Woo save Kim Nam-Joo’s mother?
In Wonderful World episode 10, Kim Nam-Joo’s Soo-Hyun discovers Seon-Yul’s (Cha Eun-Woo) secret room. It is filled with pictures from the time she entered prison after killing his father. Shocked, she waits for him and stands in front of his car.
Seon-Yul initially hits the break but then accelerates his car towards her. With a few inches away, he stops his vehicle and gets out. She tells him she knows his real identity and asks when he has followed her. He tries to hurt her emotionally by mentioning her mother’s health. In a befitting reply, she asks him to think of his mother, leaving Seon-Yul furious.
Soo-Hyun then drops a shocking bomb as she says, “What happened to your mom wasn’t a simple accident.” Later, she learns that her mother didn’t collapse because of Seon-Yul but due to Yu-Ri’s confession. Instead, Seon-Yul saved her mother by bringing her to the hospital on time.
On the other hand, Soo-Hyun’s husband Soo-Ho’s plan to expose political leader Kim Joon fails. Interestingly, Seon-Yul tags with Kim Joon before meeting Soo-Hyun and meets the judge, prosecutor, and attorney involved in his father’s case. It is unclear if Seon-Yul realizes that they are a group of corrupt people.
Wonderful World episode 10 ending: Kim Nam-Joo visits Cha Eun-woo’s mother’s funeral
Towards the end of the Wonderful World episode 10, Cha Eun-Woo’s Seon-Yul gets a call from the hospital about his mother. For context, the latter was in a coma for a long time after an accident. In a flashback, she had requested Seon-Yul to forgive his father’s killer.
Returning to the present, Seon-Yul rushes to the hospital to meet his mother for the last time. Due to his heart condition, he struggles to reach her ward on time. When he arrives, she has already passed away.
Kim Nam-Joo’s Soo-Hyun learns about Seon-Yul’s mother and arrives at her funeral. She pays her respects and begins to leave when he stops her. Devastated, Seon-Yul asks her, “What are you doing here?” She softly replies, “Don’t think about anything else. Focus on sending your mom off.”
Seon-Yul gets angry and asks, “Did you come to see me like this?” Without answering his question, she begins to leave when he rushes towards her and holds her hand. Startled, Soo-Hyun looks at him. He slowly lifts his head and gives a teary yet intense look.
