Queen of Divorce episode 9 spoilers: Lee Ji-Ah suspects Oh Min-Suk’s involvement in her mother’s death

In Queen of Divorce episode 9, Lee Ji-Ah’s Sa-Ra understands why her ex-husband, Yul-Sung (Oh Min-Suk), wants them to marry again. Therefore, she rejects his proposal and returns the roses to his mother’s office, asking her to stop his son.

When Yul-Sung’s mother refrains him from getting involved with Sa-Ra again, he reveals the real reason for keeping her close. Yul-Sung says, “Do you think I’m doing this just to get her support? Kim Sa-Ra and Dong Gi-Jun. These two started to investigate Na Yu-Mi’s case again.” For context, Yu-Mi was Yul-Sung’s mistress who died after a fight with him. Her death was announced as “suicide,” but Sa-Ra’s mother had evidence that proved it to be murder. The day her mother was going to hand over the evidence to the prosecutor, she died.

Later in episode 9, Sa-Ra and Kang Ki-Young’s Gi-Jun get together for her mother’s first death anniversary. This is when she finds out that her mom was the witness in Yu-Mi’s death case and had probably not died by suicide. They find another witness to know the truth about Sa-Ra’s mother, but she also ends up dead. Ji-Ah’s suspicion of Oh Min-Suk’s character being the culprit slowly turns out to be true. However, she doesn’t have any evidence to put him behind bars.
