Queen of Divorce episode 12 recap & spoilers: Oh Min-Suk locks up Lee Ji-Ah, intends to kill her

In Queen of Divorce episode 12, Oh Min-Suk’s Yul-Sung is furious as Sa-Ra (Lee Ji-Ah) has the ledger. If the details get out, then he can be charged for bribery. To cover up his crime, he uses his son as leverage to lure out Sa-Ra to strike a deal with her.

Worried, Sa-Ra rushes to get her son back from Yul-Sung, but he plays hard and demands the ledger in return. She pulls out the book from her bag and opens up a page to assure him that it is not a fake ledger. After Sa-Ra, her son, and Gi-Jun (Kang Ki-Young) leave the place, Yul-Sung looks inside the book and discovers that it is indeed fake.

The next day, Yul-Sung’s bribery reports are all over the news, followed by a search and seize order for the Chayul Law Firm. When he realizes he is in deep trouble, Oh Min-Suk’s character asks his secretary to take all the blame, including the death of Sa-Ra’s mother. Filled with rage, Yul-Sung attacks Sa-Ra and locks her up in a basement.

While trying to force her to make a false statement, he finds a hidden microphone that falls out. He understands that she wants him to confess to her mother’s death. Yul-Sung then takes her to an empty container and ties her up. He tells her the container will be shipped in five minutes, so she should make the false statement to save herself. When she denies it, he puts on a recorder and asks her to leave her last message for her son before dying.

Sa-Ra tricks him and makes him confess that he pushed her mother from the roof.

Queen of Divorce ending: Did Lee Ji-Ah & Kang Ki-Young end up together?

As Kim Sa-Ra (Lee Ji-Ah) is struggling to breathe in the compartment, she recalls her happy moments with her mother, her son, and Gi-Jun (Kang Ki-Young). Just moments before she loses consciousness, Gi-Jun opens the compartment door and saves her.

Meanwhile, Yul-Sung tries to flee the scene, but the police arrive on time. Sa-Ra, Gi-Jun, and her Solution colleagues also appear at the scene. Sa-Ra kicks him, making Yul-Sung fall to the ground. She grabs his phone and plays the recording. Finally, the culprit is caught and sent to prison.

Towards the end of Queen of Divorce, Gi-Jun tries to win over Sa-Ra’s son. Meanwhile, the episode ends with a wedding, but not of the lead couple. Gi-Jun, however, proposes to Sa-Ra after their friends’ wedding ceremony. She says yes but with a condition. They agree to marry for five years, and if they are still not bored of each other, they will renew their vows.
