Doctor Slump episode 6: Park Hyung-Sik & Park Shin-Hye recognize their feelings for each other

The latest Doctor Slump episode began with Nam Ha-Neul reflecting on her journey up until the present. She realized that her mental health caused her conflicting emotions. Later, she comforted a distressed Jeong-Woo by hugging him. He also confessed to missing her. The following day, Ha-Neul went for a jog while Jeong-Woo received a call from the police. Although they had sent the fingerprints from his clinic’s hidden cameras for examination, the results weren’t clear. Jeong-Woo hoped for a breakthrough.

Ha-Neul met Jeong-Woo, and the two shopped for wine, comfortable clothes, and other things for him to sleep better. Ha-Neul realized that Jeong-Woo suffered from PTSD and was unable to sleep due to fear of a medical accident happening all the time. After their return, the duo washed clothes when Ha-Neul revealed that she had feelings for him but was unclear about it being serious. Later, she advised that he see a psychiatrist, but he rejected the idea. Jeong-Woo thought that his case wasn’t too serious to consult a medical professional.

Meanwhile, Ha-Neul’s friend Lee Hong-Ran took her away from him after hearing that he had rejected Ha-Neul the previous day. Hong-Ran began to discuss the incident, but Ha-Neul sent her away. Meanwhile, Hong-Ran recalled her pending coffee date with plastic surgeon Dr. Bin Dae-Young.

At night, Jeong-Woo called Ha-Neul to play Go-Stop. She ran upstairs concerned, as she had previously asked him to call her to play the game when he needed help. However, Jeong-Woo said he was ready to meet a psychiatrist if Ha-Neul accompanied him. He further expressed that he was hesitant to ask for help. Ha-Neul agreed to go with him. The following day, the duo went to the clinic, where Jeong-Woo had his consultation and they took medications together.

While returning home, they met their high school classmate (Lee Sung-Kyung), who placed third after the two in class. She expressed having an interest in Jeong-Woo and revealed that even he had feelings for her. This made Ha-Neul jealous. The classmate further revealed that Jeong-Woo offered her more food and fought for her against men who harassed her in school. After she left, Ha-Neul felt jealous and left him. Although she denied it, Ha-Neul soon realized she was overcome with jealousy.

Jeong-Woo realized that he only feigned affection for the student because he wanted to infuriate Ha-Neul. After conversations with her family, Ha-Neul went to see Jeong-Woo with dumplings. On the other hand, Hong-Ran went on a coffee date with Dae-Young, and they clarified that she subscribed to his channel by mistake. The two were arguing when Dae-Young kept defending Jeong-Woo.

Ha-Neul shared the dumplings and some cold beer with Jeong-Woo. She confessed to feeling jealous because of the state she was in. However, she recognized that it was the first time she had been jealous, and it wasn’t a great feeling. Meanwhile, Jeong-Woo confessed to liking her. However, he clarified that he would ask her out when their issues were sorted. This left Ha-Neul flustered and happy.

As they returned home, Jeong-Woo was about to reveal that he had found secret cameras inside his clinic. However, Kyung-Min arrived in time for them to stop talking. Given how he previously ratted out Ha-Neul to a hospital director, she avoided talking to him and left the house. Jeong-Woo and Kyung-Min then discussed their recent interaction, where the latter expressed that Jeong-Woo didn’t have the right to be happy.

Jeong-Woo admitted to being flustered as it was the first time his senior had behaved with him this way. But he also understood that Kyung-Min was only worried about him. Kyung-Min had other intentions but went along with Jeong-Woo. Meanwhile, the police discovered a man exiting Jeong-Woo’s house on the day of the break-in.

By the end of the episode, Ha-Neul kept waiting for Jeong-Woo when she saw his home door open. She went inside and closed the window. As she sorted out the room, she found a pen, which was a hidden camera. Meanwhile, Jeong-Woo realized that someone was following him and finally confronted the mystery man. However, just as Jeong-Woo was about to confirm the man’s identity, the latter attacked him and ran away. A bleeding Jeong-Woo then stopped while trying to follow him.
