Between Him and Her episode 2 aired on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, on Viki and Channel A. Lee Seol and Lee Dong-Hae play the roles of the central couple in the ongoing romantic series. Helmed by Lee Yoo-Yeon and Park Sang-Min, the K-drama revolves around the worn-out relationship between a long-time couple—Han Seong-Ok and Jung Hyun-Seong.
Fans of Between Him and Her have been curious to know how the second episode unfolds as episode 1 ends with Hyun-Seong (Lee Dong-Hae) seeing Seong-Ok (Lee Seol) with another man in the hotel. Episode 2 showcases the two repenting their mistakes and reminiscing about their good old days.

Between Him and Her episode 2 opens right where the preceding episode ends. Both Seong-Ok and Hyun-Seong are shocked to see each other inside the elevator. They both think that they have cheated on one another. It is not clear yet whether or not they were physically intimate with other individuals. However, the thought of cheating seems to have crossed their minds as they spend that evening drinking with another man and woman.
In the second episode of Between Him and Her, after seeing Hyun-Seong inside the elevator, Seong-Ok expresses his surprise. However, they are unable to say anything to each other as both of them feel guilty. Seong-Ok enters the same elevator with the other man, and the three of them stand silently inside the elevator. Following this, Seong-Ok leaves the building with the other man, and Hyun-Seong follows them.
Seeing them together, Hyun-Seong breaks down. He sits down on the roadside and does not know what to do. Later on, he calls Seong-Ok and the two have an extremely awkward conversation, making the situation even worse. The two break up on the call. However, right after finishing the first call, Hyun-Seong calls Seong-Ok again, but unfortunately, his phone breaks accidentally. Thus, the two are unable to continue their conversation and end up being heartbroken.
The next day, the two meet with their friends separately, and they realize that something has gone wrong with the relationship. Both of them feel remorse about how they ended up in this situation after spending so many years with each other romantically. Moreover, Hyun-Seong regrets taking Seong-Ok for granted in recent years. He soon realizes the void her absence has created in his life as he sits alone in his house.
Meanwhile, Seong-Ok moves to another apartment that they used to share before moving in together to the current one. When her best friend finally finds her there, she breaks down in front of her. In the meantime, Hyun-Seong gets drunk with his friends and tells them not to give his phone to him so that he can not drunk dial Seong-Ok’s number. His friends do just that to avoid any bad conversation between the two.
The now estranged long-time couple start missing each other’s company, and at the end of the episode, Hyun-Seong ends up calling Seong-Ok and confessing how much he misses her. He also explains how sorry he is and how she means a lot to him. When he turns around, he sees Seong-Ok standing right there listening to him talk. The episode ends there.
