Popular K-drama, Strong Girl Namsoon, aired an episode on Sunday, November 5, 2023, on JTBC and streaming on Netflix. The series follows the story of three generations of women investigating drug-related crimes in Gangnam. Starring Lee Yoo-Mi and Ong Seong-Wu as the leads, the drama is a spin-off of the iconic 2017 series Strong Woman Bong-Soon.
Episode 10 of Strong Girl Namsoon showcased a lot of drama as Gang Nam-Soon (Lee Yoo-Mi) and Gang Hee-Sik (Ong Seong-Wu) continued their investigation into Ryu Shi-Oh’s (Byeon Woo-Seok) company. By the end of the episode, Ryu Shi-Oh called Gang Nam-Soon into his office and asked her out on a date, shocking her as well as Gang Hee-Sik.

In Episode 10 of Strong Girl Namsoon, Gang Nam-Soon hears that Ryu Shi-Oh tried to kill her mother, Hwang Geum-Joo (Kim Jung-Eun). However, she pretends to be unbothered by the same as she is working undercover in his company. Moreover, in her previous conversation with her mother, the latter knew that Ryu Shi-Oh would target her, leading her to fake the accident.
During a dinner with Ryu Shi-Oh, Gang Nam-Soon learns that he was an orphan raised in Russia. Previously, she’d also found numbered drug boxes specific to Ryu Shi-Oh and informed Gang Hee-Sik of the same. The latter asks Gang Nam-Soon to have Ryu Shi-Oh drop her at his place.
When Gang Hee-Sik arrives at his house, he finds Gang Nam-Soon sleeping. The duo share awkward but sweet moments, that includes a mistaken kiss. She tells him about Ryu Shi-Oh consuming a drug and following it up with drinking water. Gang Hee-Sik understands that the company produces the antidote to the drug.
The following day, Gang Nam-Soon sneaks inside the truck carrying the drug boxes. Gang Hee-Sik distracts the truck driver, while she escapes with a colleague’s help. She also takes a jacket from the box and after ripping it apart in the police station, they discover it’s a drug.
Previously, Gang Hee-Sik is given a pill by Gang Nam-Soon’s father, who explains that his son was consuming it as a weight-loss pill and fell sick. After analysis, Gang Hee-Sik informs Hwang Geum-Joo that it is, in fact, a drug. This leaves her outraged and she plans to leave no stone unturned to fight Ryu Shi-Oh.
Meanwhile, Ryu Shi-Oh calls Gang Nam-Soon into his chambers. When she asks why he’d called her multiple times, he asks her to date him. She is befuddled at his confession. So is Gang Hee-Sik, who witnesses it all through the digital watch she is wearing.
