‘I don’t think Pushpa has done anything to me’: Fahadh Faasil

Fahadh Faasil recently appeared in an interview with Film Companion and was candid about his choice of work. The Vikram actor revealed that despite working in different languages, his heart belongs to Malayalam cinema. Moreover, he mentioned that the very successful film Pushpa has not done “anything” to him.

Faasil said, “I don’t think Pushpa has done anything to me.” He added, “I tell Suku sir [Sukumar] that I don’t have to hide it, I have to be honest, I’m doing my stuff here.” “No disrespect to anything. I don’t think people expect magic from me from Pushpa. It’s pure collaboration love for Suku sir, my stuff is here [Malayalam films], very clearly.”

The Pushpa film franchise began in 2021, with Allu Arjun leading the cast. It also stars Rashmika Mandanna in a crucial role. Faasil’s portrayal as the antagonist was loved by the audience for his witty and severe appearance. As a result, the film made Faasil a pan-India star.

The actor is extremely busy with a long lineup of projects. He will soon be seen reprising his role as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat in Pushpa 2: The Rule. On the other hand, he is set to collaborate with Tamil superstar Rajinikanth in the upcoming film Vettaiyan. Some of his other forthcoming titles include Don’t Trouble The Trouble, and Oxygen.
