Salaar is the most recent blockbuster from Prabhas, which is showing no sign of stopping its victory run at the box office. On day 13, Salaar crossed $78 million in its worldwide box-office collection, and with this impressive number, it has become the third biggest Telugu blockbuster after Baahubali 2 and RRR.
Since its release on December 22, 2023, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire has been achieving impressive numbers at the box office. Despite facing tough competition from Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, Salaar made its entry at the box office with around $10.8 million in earnings and continued a strong performance in the upcoming days.
For those unaware, the cast of Salaar featured Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles, along with Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, and others. The plot of the movie revolves around the two leads who turn from friends to foes in the fictional land of Khansaar. It is important to note that Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is the first part of a two-part franchise, and its second part/sequel is likely to go on the floors soon.
Prabhas’ Salaar box office collection earned $78 million worldwide on Day 13
As of now, Salaar has reached day 13 with a total domestic collection of around $44.8 million. The film managed to earn $630k on its second Wednesday since its theatrical release. Furthermore, as per reports, Prabhas’ latest film has also crossed the mark of $78 million in its worldwide collection, making it the third Telugu film to cross this impressive mark.
Previously, Prabha’s Baahubali 2 reached this landmark with a whopping $214.6 million in the worldwide BO collection. Besides this, Jr. NTR and Ram Charan’s recent RRR also made a historical collection of $147.6 million worldwide.
It will be interesting to see how the box-office collection of Salaar moves forward in the upcoming days and how the Prabhas film ends its theatrical run.
