Sam Bahadur Day 7 Box Office Collection: Vicky Kaushal Movie Earns $4 Million in First Week

Vicky Kaushal’s latest movie, Sam Bahadur, has been navigating its way through the box office waves. The film’s box office collection on day 7 is $0.36 million. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the biopic delves into the illustrious life of India’s first Field Marshal, Sam Manekshaw.

However, the film’s journey has been challenging as it has been overshadowed by the massive success of Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. Despite this, Sam Bahadur continues to hold its ground by making a total collection of $4.6 million in its first week of release.

But the global reception has been favorable, with the film crossing the $5.8 million mark in the worldwide box office collection. As it inches toward the $5.9 million milestone, the film’s perseverance and appeal are undeniable.

Sam Bahadur faced an uphill battle since it was released in the shadows of Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. The latter, with its nationwide release, cast a formidable shadow over the limited, Hindi-only release of Sam Bahadur. However, the film still managed to secure an overall 21.39% occupancy on Thursday, December 7, 2023, with Mumbai recording 24.25% and Pune leading with an impressive 42.75% occupancy.

According to their sources, the highly anticipated Sam Bahadur OTT release is scheduled for Republic Day on ZEE5. All in all, it would offer a wider and diverse audience the opportunity to experience the compelling saga of Sam Manekshaw.

The film is a poignant homage to the legendary Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. It chronicles his illustrious military career spanning over four decades and five wars. Kaushal portrays the iconic figure, while Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh join him as cast members.
