Animal Day 4 Box Office Collection: Ranbir Kapoor Movie Set To Cross $35 Million Mark

Ranbir Kapoor’s latest movie, Animal, is proving to be a roaring success at the box office. It is setting new benchmarks with its fourth-day collections. The movie, which made its theatrical debut on December 1, 2023, is set to cross the $35 million mark at the domestic box office.

Animal movie is a tale of a son adopting extreme methods to protect and be recognized by his father. The former eventually takes violent and gruesome ways to do so and yet doesn’t receive the kind of validation he was aiming for. The film boasts a stellar cast, including Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Tripti Dimri, and more.

Is Animal Ranbir Kapoor’s highest grossing movie?

As Animal continues to roar at the box office, it is yet to become Ranbir Kapoor’s highest-grossing movie in history. His 2018 release, Sanju, still holds the record of being his highest-grossing movie. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Animal has amassed a whopping $28.9 million in India. All in all, within the initial four days of its release.

Notably, on its fourth day, which happened to be on a Monday, the film added $4.7 million to its box office bounty. This achievement positions Animal as a standout performer of the year. Moreover, it overshadowed the first Monday collection of this year’s blockbuster hits like Jawan and Pathan.

Additionally, the overall occupancy for Animal stood at 48.92% on Monday. The Telugu and Tamil markets also contributed significantly, with occupancies of 33.30% and 17.73%, respectively. These numbers affirm the film’s pan-Indian popularity.

By and large, Animal has amassed a whopping $42 million worldwide. This has secured its position as the biggest film globally over the weekend. Notably, Animal surpassed Ridley Scott’s Napoleon, establishing itself as the film of choice around the world.

Animal released along with Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur. The latter is going steady at the box office but is not able to match the former’s collection even remotely.
