Ranbir Kapoor‘s upcoming film, Animal, is already setting new milestones and breaking records ahead of its release. Produced by T-Series, Bhadrakali Pictures, and Cine1 Studios, this romantic-crime drama has been directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. With a release slated for December 1, 2023, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol.
The premise of Animal revolves around a brutal underworld filled with bloodshed. It follows a strained relationship between a father and a son where the violent nature of the underworld compels the son to turn into a psychopath. As per reports, the advance bookings for the film are off the charts, and the film has already minted USD 1 million.

How Animal movie tickets have been sold so far?
Animal will reportedly perform well at the box office. Moreover, the movie could potentially mark the biggest opening in Ranbir Kapoor’s career. The film, slated to release in five languages – Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, received an ‘A’ rating from The Central Board of Film Certification. It boasts a three-and-a-half-hour runtime.
Recent reports indicate the sale of 3,34,173 tickets across 7,200 shows in India. These advance ticket sales amount to USD 1 million across all theaters and languages in India. Animal’s Telugu version has collected over USD 190 thousand, with 58,465 tickets sales for 643 shows so far. Animal in Tamil has sold 779 tickets across 41 shows, and 1,504 tickets for its Kannada version in 16 shows. This takes the India total for the film’s advance box office collection for day 1 to USD 1 million with 7200 shows.
While the tickets sales are one thing, the momentum is another. The pre-bookings of Animal have remained consistent even on its second and third day of advance, with numbers matching and even getting ahead of the first day of sales. This pace indicates that Animal is on track to sell over 400,000 tickets. With this pace, it’ll become the third best presales of 2023 after Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Jawan.
