How much did Vijay’s Leo earn at the box office on day 7?

Leo was one of the most-anticipated films of 2023. It was released in dubbed versions of Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages. The film stars Thalapathy Vijay alongside Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Madonna Sebastian, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, George Maryan, Priya Anand, and Mathew Thomas, among others.

The film falls under LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe) and saw a huge dip in the collection on Wednesday, October 25. Leo made USD 7 million on its release day, USD 4.2 million on its first Friday, and a collective of USD 9.6 million on its first weekend. While the film collected over USD 4.2 million on Monday and USD 3.9 million on Tuesday, it only managed to collect around USD 1.5 million on Wednesday.

In terms of worldwide box office collection, Leo has surpassed the likes of three major films. These include Vikram (USD 49 million), Ponniyin Selvan 1 (USD 58 million) and Ponniyin Selvan 2 (USD 41 million). The film is now only behind Jailer (USD 72 million) and Gadar 2 (USD 82 million) at the global box office.

The distributors of the film in the United Kingdom, Ahimsa Entertainment, shared that Leo was the highest-grossing Tamil film in the country. It earned 1.36 million Euros (USD 1.4 million approximately) in seven days.

Despite the significant drop in the collection on its seventh day, Leo is still going strong. The film is likely to cross the USD 72 million mark globally.
