King Ripple Photos: New Look at Young Filmmaker’s Post-Apocalypse

Fresh off haunted short The Listing at the Stanley Film Festival, 19 year-old filmmaker Luke Jaden is currently finishing up King Ripple, a post-apocalyptic fantasy horror starring up-and-comer Keith Stanfield. Jaden presented Shock with a set of new looks at the piece and its desolation. 

In King Ripple, four teenagers travel into a decrepit urban wasteland brought forth by the very being they wish to find, dead or alive. Stanfield, who you may have seen in The Purge: Anarchy, this year’s Selma and plays Snoop in the upcoming Straight Outta Compton, stars as said being. Also on screen is filmmaker Jaden, Torrey Wigfield and Allie DeBerry. The script was penned by Bird Box author Josh Malerman.
