Miguel Jiménez (Pedro Campos) is 18 and has seen 11,000 movies in his life. Sexually inexperienced, working in a neighborhood video store and with his best friend, Mauro (Samuel González), making homemade films. His  debut movie, Victims of Madness, brings problems with his parents (Daniel Alcaíno and Berta Lasala) for its excessive level of violence and because Miguel exploits his younger sister, Tati (Francisca Diaz).  It´s the first years of the return of democracy to Chile and everything that represents freedom or desire is still seen with suspicion.

One hot summer, Michael falls for Daniela (Luciana Echeverría), a mysterious member of the video club. Willing to do anything to conquer her heart, he encounters a small obstacle that will change his plans: the apocalypse. Following an outbreak of violence plaguing the neighborhood, Miguel turns to his last refuge, that will fortify his strength against violent maniacs: The neighborhood video club Sensations of the World.
