Tokyo is getting its very own Godzilla statue. Although the full official reveal isn’t expected to happen until later this week, a Kotaku.com reader sent in images of this massive creation. It’s only half of Godzilla, but I love that it gives the impression he’s rising out of the ground. Now, image this beast being surrounded by kids and families enjoying a picnic.
Purists will likely take issue with the fact that the design is based on Godzilla 2014, but I’ve got no beef with this.
