Lionsgate Picks Up Unique Found Footage Film Nightlight

nightlightIn spite of the fact that industry buzz keeps saying "found footage" is dead, films using this narrative technique are still being sold and purchased. Take Nightlight, for instance. It was picked up by Lionsgate, says Screen Daily.

The outlet says this isn't just any ordinary found footage film, however.

Scott Beck and Bryan Woods directed what is being styled as an innovative take on the found footage genre told from a singular point of view.

The story is simple: Kids go out into the woods and unleash a demonic presence. Shelby Young, Chloe Bridges, Carter Jenkins, Mitch Hewer and Taylor Murphy star.
