A New Behind-the-Scenes Shot from Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

Empire has revealed a slew of new photos for films arriving in 2014.  One pic happened to be from the sequel Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.  Naturally, it features Andy Serkis in his mocap suit.

In the film, aa growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier.They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.

Directed by Matt Reeves, the film stars Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Enrique Murciano, Kirk Acevedo and Judy Greer. It hits theaters on July 11, 2014.
